IALH to make a Oreo milkshake.

Today is the first I go to food technology in this year,and today we are making a Oreo milkshake!I never have a chance to drink a milkshake before.Actually I have chance to drink a milk at before,but I always lost it unbelievable.This is the first time I drink milkshake and the first to make one.My cooking buddy is Huriata,I thought she is not here and she was not here but she comes.

We need a whole bag of Oreo,two cup of milk,when we finish we have spray some cream and put some chocolate sauce on the top.We also have use a bowl,a measuring cup and a blender to make a milkshake.first of all we put the Oreo inside and we put the milk inside it,when I turn it on,the milk come out of the blender just at the time,and Huriata quickly put her hand on the lid and I turn off it.I never use the blender before that I don't know when we using the blender we need use hand hold it down to make sure it didn't come out.Even it still very yum when we put the cream and chocolate sauce on,but it was very sweet,because when I nearly finish it,I put more chocolate sauce in the milkshake that makes it too sweet.So,at last,I let Huriata have a taste,even she said that was too sweet that I just throw it in the bin.

That is what are our milkshake look like,but the cup is not the glass,is the plastic

WALT:  Use what I know to understand the text

This is what do I have done in today's reading task.The article we reading in this week is called Hobbies in Pursuit of happiness.This article have many information of hobbies that others can have a look at this,I think this article have plenty information that is good to read.In this article,I found a challenge,the challenge is understand the text,because some of the sentence is not make sense to me that when I read ahead,it will be hard to me to read and understand it.But the things go lucky is that I can look at the translation or I can just ask someone to help me understand the text.

WALT - Use a range of multiplicative strategies when operating on whole/part-whole  numbers.

For today's math word task,I am try to figure out the age of the family member,the question told me'My' age is twice than brother,I am one fifth of my mum and dad's age is more than mum my brother's age.

This can tell me the relate from the family,at last it told me 'I' am going to school and my brother not,our age add together is a whole number.So from here I can figure out his age is 6,6 divide by 2 is 3,6 x 5 = 30,so mum is 30,and the last one,dad,dad's age is more than the mum my brother's age.So,brother is 3,3 plus 30 equals 33.That is how do I figure out the answer.

This task is very easy to me,because I've done some task is like this,so this didn't have difficult.

IALT write a comment for the class blog and write it in the L4 ways.

This is the comment that I write to the video in the class blog,even I don't know why it is says this comment is published in yesterday 3:30 PM but I am not very care the time.This video is talk about helping others,this video's background music is called give a little love,but the lyrics don't seems right.The challenge I found in this comments is that I try to write the comment as I am talking,but I don't think I make it.

IALT making a clock in the Tamaki college.

Today we have finish our clock!We've done it in the last ten minute,when I am waiting for my clock,I am helping Ms.Ferguson to making the clock,my clock is a sword and with a arrow.I am very happy of my clock,even it is crack and the paint is weird,and here is the picture for my clock.

The yellow heart is been blocked by the minute hand,but you can see there have a green heart at the bottom yellow part,this is also the arrow.The sword and the arrow is two character's symbolic,and the purple point and the blue point on the sword is the color of there eyes.When I finish my clock,I am also helping Ms.Ferguson to make the clocks to other,I was been Ms.Ferguson's assistant.I like graphic,it is fun!

WALT use what I know to understand the text.

Today what we are reading a article called How to turn your hobby into your job,and I've learn many new words in this article and some words that I already know but keeps forget.Like,naturally,flourish,fruitful.etc,those are the some words I don't know at before,I think I even didn't seen it before,I've write down the meaning in my own language,and I will write some sentence in my book.And the challenge I found in this article is to understand the text because it have many words that I don't know,but I can search online that I am not very worries.

WALT - Use a range of multiplicative strategies when operating on whole/part whole numbers.

For today's math,we are using a different ways to doing our math task,first of all,we are playing flash cards,because I have a slip of tongue and I've didn't watch carefully that I says the wrong answer,totally,I've answer wrong three card,but my partner Leilani have been answer wrong seven cards,she usually answered wrong because my finger is block the number.

The math sheet tasks is kinda easy,I am moving to the tasks quick than others in my group,also because they have playing the math dice game that they have slower than me,in the whole math lesson I have learn different ways to find the answer.

IALA the relate of  afakasi and chameleon in the poem.

This is the poem that Ms.Aireen show us and learn yesterday.Yesterday in the writing lesson,Ms.Aireen show us a video about chameleon,before this video I don't know what is chameleon but when I see the whole body of chameleon I already know what it is,I've seen it many time in the internet and I know some information about it but I don't know the name in english.But our focus is on afakasi chameleon,in this poem,the author says that every afakasi is a chameleon.Afakasi is the people have different cultual blodd,like their mother is Cook islands,father is Samoa,grandfather is Tonga and grandmother is Fiji,then you will be a afakasi,afakasi is the people have more than one bloodline.In the poem,I found many words I don't know and some words have the wrong meaning that makes me feel weird.Like poly hued,in the translation it changed to spotted.The challenge to me is to read that poem and understand it all.

Technology T3W4

IALH to make a clock and paint it.

Today I am going to technology and I am still painting my clock,the reason why I paint my design is because I found there were some water is on my clock and make my clock weird.When I painting my clock I need to make the color that is same like the color I paint at on the clock last week.But my hand have some paint on that it is easy to mix on the color,that makes me nearly disappear.The challenge I found is that not put the wrong color on the wrong place.The unlucky things is I left my jumper in the class,the things go lucky is I have another jumper at home.But I still like to technology,next week we are going to the clock control on our clock.

WALH to reverse multiplication and division problems to make them easier.

This is what I have done in this week,we are practice on our basic math which is multiplication and division skill.And I am practicing other strategy to solve the math problem,but I found that the long division is the one that I was feel well to solving problem.

The challenge I found is the last question in task 13,it ask me what is 2682 divide by 18,I am keep doing wrong,because I forget to add a ten that I am keep doing it wrong.I still have 5 task to done and I am re-recognize that my math need still to practice,my math is getting bad.

Today we are working on quality blog comment with Mrs.Shearing. She is talking about high quality blog comment.A quality blog comments needs positive,thoughtful and helpful.Positive means make people feel happy,not feeling bad,like begin the comment with a greeting,thoughtful means think more about the text,like you can try to make a connection for the text and the last one helpful,helpful means help others,you can make more information by asking question or give a feedback to the author.

This lesson is kinda easy to understand,because the three main elements of the quality blog comment I already know,when you understand positive,thoughtful and helpful you will easy to understand what is a quality blog comments.

IALA making a clock by myself.

Today we are still painting our clock model! I am very exciting of paint,because I am very like to drawing,but the things go so bad is that Kensington mixed my color all together,he needs to feel happy that I only needs green not other color and the green is in the other plate,otherwise I think I will punch him.Forget this,other things in the technology is still fun and happy.And I know that yellow and blue mixed the green.I like painting,the challenge to me in the technology is that I want to use the very thin brush to paint my work and I alway cross the line that I need to paint another color the cover the color.

This is main part to my clock,my one is have a arrow on it.And every time I look at my clock I will feel despair and despise.because it is crack and I feel it is ugly that don't even want to look at it.

This week we are reading a article called Jump!This article is talk about a boy called Pania and his uncle and sister to the the sky tower but he is scared to high,but they are going to have a bungee jumping,at last because Pania is not enough to jump that he is very happy about it.

I just like Pania,he is scared of high,me too.In this article the challenge for me is that to understand why is he suddenly behave like that he didn't scared,I thought that he was scared of high.

This week's math we are focus on division and the group question is asking me to use a different strategy to figure out the answer.At the beginning I am with Leilani and Losana do the math question that need a buddy,because Losana is going do something that I am with Leilani to buddy up.

This is what do I do in this week,I am using place value like this to figure out the answer even this is not my way to figure the answer

The whole tasks,the hardest one to me is question 5 and 13,because I need to do many little question in this big question and they are the big number,that kind of question is easy to makes me impatient.But the easiest one is that question one,because the first question will not be hard.

Today we are still with Mrs.Shearing doing our cybersmart.Last week we are talking about digital footprint and today we are still talking about digital footprint and we are going to making our own digital print map.

This is my digital footprint map,it is start at 07/08/2017 Am10:25 and to 08/08/2017 Am10:15.That is which web site I went in one day's time.The black footprint on the map is telling you which way because didn't have this you can't know which web I've on.I'm enjoy to do this,I thought this fun is because I don't need to do to many brainstorm,but the things makes me feel impatient is that when I'm done it in half-way,I am very easy which web is the next and the order is easy to mix up.

WALA hip hop and the dance move.

Today is Monday and we are going to learn about Hip hop,we learn that Hip hop have four element and it is dance,art,rap and music.Social dance also is part of hip hop.

B-boy and B-girl means break boy and break girl,break dance is the dance part of hip hop,poetry is the part of rap,graffiti is under the art and DJ is under to music.And I;ve know that hip hop is from New york,and is start in 1973 by African,American and Latinos

We have follow Ms.Jazmine learn about the movement about hip hop,I like hip hop because it is very fun,and we've learn,Smuff,James brown,Janet Jackson and Alf,Janet Jackson is pretty hard to me,I can't coordinate my body so if I am doing my hands then my leg will be weird,if I do my legs my hand will not moving just stuck at there.When we are finishing our lesson,we are doing a freestyle circle,we stand as a circle,and we clapping our hands with music,and we need to do a freestyle on the middle of circle.I've do a splits,the movement they do most is a dab.

We have learning about digital footprint online,and here is a advice made from me,hope it can give you some message online.

We have learn about the footprint in this week's lesson,I've learn that the words you said will be disappear,but the words you sent online will not disappear,even you delete it,it will still stay online,so be careful of what do you write.The internet also can remember what you search,for example,you buy somethings online,next day you will see the things you buy yesterday is jumping out and we are doing a presentation about the 24 hour footprint,the challenge I found on this presentation is that advice.In one sentence I want to said."Internet can remember every things you do online."

IALA make a clock.

Today we are still with Ms.Ferguson and making our clock,when we go in the classroom,I found that my design is cut out but it is cracked,because the line I draw is not straight and I draw the straight just above it,that makes my design crack,even I am very regret about it,but I didn't draw it again,because it will waste my time so I just a line on my model then paint it,my design is a sword with an arrow,that clock I make have a important meaning in my mind.

That is a example for our clock,our design is not like that.The challenge I find in this technology lesson is that paint the color in the correct place and don't step over the line that I draw on my model.But I feel very fun when I was painting,I like art.

We've got a new reading task,the tittle is called "Rowing to the Olympics",from the tittle I can tell that this article is about boat and Olympics,that whole article had tell me some information about a kind of ship called "Megabyte" .The whole article is talk about a man called D'Arcy row the boat from his home to Nelson,I think D'Arcy rowing the boat to their is because there have his lover,his lover is called Emily.The things in this story are most makes me impressive is D'Arcy tell the seagull he loves Emily.The challenge I've found in this article is to understand this article,because this article tell me the story about D'Arcy,Olympics and the facts about Megabyte that makes me feel confuse about this article.

IALA practicing my basic fact.

This week we are learning about basic facts of our math,because we can't quickly figure out the maths question so we are learning our multiplication again,we are learning basic facts of math.I like math,every time we finish fitness I will very happy that we will doing our math even my friend didn't like math.

  

This is what I done in the math time,we also have done a 3 minute multiplication question sheet,and we have play a math competition game,Ms.Komor will chose two people to answer a math question and the first one called out the correct answer is win and Ms.Komor will chose another person from the name stick and repeat until last people.The first time I am the last one and I win the game,it is very nervous when I stand up and my leg is shaking.
